Terms and Conditions of Participation

User Agreement

The ICF Thought Leadership Institute’s Hunch program is part of our mission to explore emerging trends and ideas that shape the future of coaching and human development. By submitting a hunch through our platform, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions, as well as the ICF Privacy Policy.

Hunch Submission Terms

• Review and Posting: You understand that your submitted hunch will be reviewed by ICF Thought Leadership Institute (or its authorized designee) before it is posted. ICF Thought Leadership Institute reserves the right not to post a hunch or to remove a posted hunch for any reason. For example, self-promotional submissions, funding requests, or inappropriate content will not be posted.
• Public Use and Sharing: By submitting a hunch, you understand and agree that it will be made public and that anyone may share or use it, including ICF Thought Leadership Institute. You will not claim ownership of the hunch you submitted. If you do not wish for your hunch to be made public, freely shared or used by ICF Thought Leadership Institute, please do not submit it.
• Originality and Rights: You affirm that your hunch submission does not infringe upon  the intellectual property  rights of any other person or entity, that it is not defamatory in nature, and that it is submitted solely for the purpose of making a genuine and positive contribution to the program.
• Prohibited Content: You agree not to submit anything that:
  • expresses views on candidates for public office, political parties, or pending/proposed legislation at any level.
  • provides explicit or implicit medical advice.
  • is defamatory, derogatory, hateful, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate or unlawful. ICF Thought Leadership Institute will determine appropriateness at its sole discretion.
  • contains links to other websites.

Your Responsibilities

• Accurate Information: You must provide a valid email address that is your own. By submitting your email, you agree that ICF Thought Leadership Institute may contact you regarding your hunch or related work that may interest you.
• Age Requirement: You affirm that you are at least 18 years old, or if you are younger, you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Program Terms

• Changes to Terms: ICF Thought Leadership Institute reserves the right to update this User Agreement and modify program features at any time. Updates will be posted on the platform. Continued participation signifies acceptance of revised terms.
• Acknowledgment of Agreement: By submitting your hunch, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with any policies linked herein.

The effective date of this User Agreement is January 27, 2025.
