What inspires you?

I’m inspired by the resilience of the human spirit: by nature, my daughter, emotional intelligence, integrity, equity, and belonging. The “helpers” inspire me, waking up every day to engage in purposeful work, solving complex problems and learning from diverse teams are all things that inspire me every day.

What relationship has been most influential in your life?

My relationship with my daughter has hands down been the most influential relationship in my life. I was a single mom to her until she was 15 and she struggled with chronic illness most of her young life. Her resilience, kindness, empathy, and ability to find the good on the darkest days have impacted and influenced me more than she’ll ever know.
