Biography

Dr. Sandra Diller is Assistant Professor for Organizational Psychology at the Private University Schloss Seeburg and IOC Harnisch research affiliate. Her core research and teaching areas are Personnel Development, incl. Coaching, Training and Mentoring, Leadership and Leadership Development, Social Interactions in Organizations, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. In her coaching research, she has investigated the differentiation between coaching and training and underlying needs (e.g., doi: 10.1108/IJMCE-08-2020-0050), measuring quality in coaching (e.g., doi: 10.1007/s11613-020-00662-8), empathy and trust as success factors in coaching (e.g., doi: 10.1080/21515581.2019.1650751), and coaching difficult clients (e.g., doi: 10.1037/cpb0000203) or dark triad clients (e.g., doi: 10.1080/17521882.2020.1784973). In addition, Sandra is a certified coach (University of Salzburg, CoBeCe), trainer (LMU Munich), and mentor (LMU Munich, Center of Leadership and People Management), and has been co-responsible for the coaching training and the mentoring training at the University of Salzburg. Since 2018, Sandra is part of the jury for the ICF Prism Award, honoring companies that implemented outstanding coaching programs.
