Biography
Alicia Hullinger is a Cultural Sociologist and the Executive Director/VP of the newly formed ICF Thought Leadership Institute where she leads the building of a global hub of knowledge for human development and coaching that empowers people to contribute to the United Nations Action Plan for societal well-being. As part of this work, the Thought Leadership Institute brings together transdisciplinary global thinkers to engage in authentic, open, emergent dialogue to explore the pressing issues of our time. The Thought Leadership Institute is building what will one day become the Global Digital Library of Human Development and Coaching.
As a sociologist, Alicia is interested in pathways for interconnectedness and integration and asks questions on how to enhance relationships within ourselves, with each other, and with our one home. Her mantra that inspires her work is to “live compassionately bold.” Previously, Alicia was consulting with organizations on social change models in the areas of cooperative business models, sustainability, alternative agriculture, social movements, and coaching research.
