Woody Woodward, Ph.D., PCC, is an executive coach, organizational psychologist, and professor with expertise in communication, teamwork, management, and leadership development. Woody started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM as a management and HR consultant. He moved into executive coaching, working with business leaders in both private and public organizations. Transitioning into academia, Woody obtained a doctorate in industrial and organizational psychology from Florida International University, eventually founding a Master of Science degree program in Executive Coaching & Organizational Consulting at New York University, where he now develops and trains future leaders in executive coaching. Woody is the author of the top-selling career book, The You Plan.
As a practitioner, Woody works with clients on communication, team challenges, and building management/leadership capacity through one-on-one coaching, team coaching, custom training/coaching programs, and corporate retreats. Woody has worked with worldwide organizations, including Bacardi USA, SAP, The Miami Herald, IBM, and Sugar Foods Corporation. In 2005, Woody founded Human Capital Integrated to focus on his passion for selecting and developing authentic, mindful and positive leaders. He also developed the “From Player to Coach” program with the Institute of Management Studies, training accelerating managers from Verizon, the NBA, BOSE, and McDonald’s. As a workplace expert, Woody has appeared on The TODAY Show, LIVE w/ Kelly, FOX & Friends, FOX News, Fox Business, CNN, The Willis Report, TODAY in New York, and Daytime. He also conducted an intervention on Bravo Network’s Tabatha Takes Over.
